Meaning of espíritu vivificante

furoya

espíritu vivificante
  28

I should refer the consultation in spirit and vivifying, but I suspect where it comes from and even if it is not a locution it may generate some bewilderment. It belongs to at least one passage from the New Testament (First Epistle to the Corinthians 15 : 45) where Adam is counted as being endowed with a soul. The point is that not all translations are the same, in some it says « . . . spirit that gives life, which is best interpreted as "soul".
